Hello!
Hi! I'm new here and I just wanted to introduce myself. Sorry if this is the wrong place for that, I didn't see a new members section.
My mother just got her new 2014 6MT 2.0L Mazda3 today, and couldn't be happier with it so far. I just thought it would be good to get some forum presence and skim some information from the posts here (she's not all too internet savvy). Personally, I'm the owner of a 2005 RX-8 (1.3L
), so I have abit of experience with the more finicky of the Mazda bunch.
To start with, is there anything that we absolutely need to know? Any mods that are a must for a daily driver? The car only has 30 miles on it, but if I can do some subtle, non-warranty voiding improvements from the start I'd be quite happy to do them. The only reason I ask is so that we're aware of any issues (if there are any) before they start to be problems.
