Gran Turismo

Just a random question that popped in my head today...

Does anyone besides me play Gran Turismo 2 and modify the Protege's and 323's in there?

GT2??? Man, it's time to step up to GT3. Too bad there aren't any Proteges in it.

I still play GT2, avidly.

I've played GT3 (even have my own PS2 memory card) and I'm not too bad at it.

I wish I could go up against other GT2 players. Anyone interested in starting up a little GT2 weekly challenge on this board?

I'm up for that if you guys think you can handle the competition. I'm a fierce gamer. I've logged about 600 days on GT2, got all the licenses without cheating, and have about $20 mil. in the bank. I was so hooked on GT2 its not even funny, but now I have a new addiction, GT3!

What is your best top speed in GT2? I'd imagine you used the HKS 180 SX Drag correct? I believe I broke 300 mph at one point....

I agree, GT3 is much harder. Sorry Wil, I'm ahead of you. ;-) I've finished the arcade mode on all difficulty levels, and in simulation i've completed the rally races and the beginner and amateur or whatever they're called. I still just got the 75% completion car, gave me the 787B. Only Japanese Le Mans winner, and it was what? A Mazda? That's right. ;-) I still haven't started those endurance races though. Those are ridiculously long. Some of them are like 150 laps!!!

to really see your skeelz

i was wondering how many gold medals have you guys gotten in GT2's license tests.

I got all golds in B license (bonus car is a Spoon S2k! )

about 75% in A license

1/2 in I-C license

and a couple more in the other licenses

getting gold in these license tests are HARD! especially the later ones!

89.8% completed in GT3 and 99% in GT Concept which was pretty quick to play. GT Concetpt Tokyo Genova has 4 tracks from GT3 and one from GT2. but still, very nice new cars
