yah wtf. I had tickets to the pistons game last tues night against the sixers. Im like hey you wanna go to my friend. He accepted. I wasn't like now you owe me 30$ for the ticket. It doesn't matter to me even tho i am poor. Friendship > money. In the end he paid for dinner. But thats what friends do . Ill fix your computer. That is what my job is at the moment

 

I hate **** like this.

I don't give a rat's *** about money between friends. The only ones that matter are bets. I make a bet with a friend, and whoever loses, pays up ASAP. Even for a dollar. Keeps things level and fair.

But favors and **** - hey, you do this, next one's on me, ya' know? It's not even like your "friend" had to shell out money - it's LABOR he's charging for. Labor is free for friends. Help me move, help me fix my car, hey can you gimme a hand with my system -it's all good, because when I need the favor, they are right there. Maybe a dinner or something - and you did that already.

Next time the guy asks you for money, tell him to **** off. Then tell him not to call you anymore. He'll learn one day. You don't need people like that around you.

That guy is not your friend man, you don't charge friends for helping them. Like Hihoslva said, the only money issues between friends should be because of bets.

If I ask a friend to help me out with something I always have beer and food to share with him or her(mostly beer ) while we're doing whatever it is that we're doing, afterwards we just hang out as FRIENDS, I would never charge a friend for "labor" and I don't spect one of them to charge me for it either.
Take the other day for example, I helped my friend install his audio system, he didn't have the right tools or the space so I told him to come to my house. We used my tools, did it at my garage and I worked as if it was my own car, I didn't expect him to give me anything and if he had, I wouln't have accepted it because I know that he would do the same for me.

 

I know he is a cheapo, but this time he just pissed me off.
He said " I will come to your home to take my money, not to fix your computer, if you want me to fix it, it's 10$/hr"
Coz I told him, come help me again and I will pay you in one shot. He doesn't like it, since he says I still owe him 20$ from last time and I didn't paid yet.

I asked him why you charge your friends like that, and he argued " You want me to fix your computer for free?!!!!"

D@mn, that's just make me very sad......



Well, maybe I didn't do a lot favor to him....that's why he think I'm not worth to help??
But I brought him for a job before and lead him to work with me. And I think friends shouldn't count each others like that and I asked myself, I'm not an idiot who always take advantages from friends....

Talking about bets or gambles......we play cards games before for money, and he always winning. So, I paid him $ everytime coz me and others lose and we suggest that he use that money to buy a new basketball and we can have a new basketball to play next time since our ***** are all dirty and old.

His reaction is "Are you crazy or what?! It's my money, why I buy a basketball to play? I spend how I want."

My friends and I was like damn...........you won our money and you just use part of it to fo a favour of everybody, so we can have a new basketball to play next time and he is it's unreasonable and stupid. After few times, we stopped play card games...

Thats not a friend thats a bum trying to get money. I have never and will never ask a friend for money for doing favors i just make them repay it. I helped build my buddies shed he helped me pick up my motor in his truck and helped me carry it into my house :-)
