Angry Got pissed off by a good friend

Well...I just talk with my friends 15 min ago on MSN and I got pissed off.
My computer have some probelms (like always) and I asked my goodfriend (He is an expert in computer) for help. I know he was busy, so I waited until he finished all his exams and he told me he will come help when he is free.

Last time, he re-format my pc and he told me that I owe him 40$ for that, I didn't take that serious, I paid him a meal that day after he fixed it for me and I paid him one other lunch few days ago. But he keep saying that I owe him money. I don't really like it, not becoz of money, it's becoz I don't like friends charge me money when I ask for help! Is that call friendship?

Today, I asked him if he'll come to check up my PC tomorrow, he told me I still owe him money and for tomolo, it will be 10$/hr. I know it's not much compare to ask another guy to come fix it for me. My point is that I got pissed off when my good friend always charge me money when I need him to check up my pc.

Few years before, my brother broke his tires while driving and he dun have tools to switch to spare tires, he call this friend for help. (He just live like 5min away for that place, so my bro ask him for help instead of others). After the job, he keep yelling my bro for a Japanese buffet or something, my bro got pissed off and just gave him 50$ cash to shut his mouth.

One other day, I asked him to come to my home check what's wrong with my computer, he asked me $5 gaz for it and at the end he couldn't do anything and just tell me to bring my desktop to his place.....
(He just lives 15KM away from me and he is driving a 1.6L car)

Also, he got a new movie and asked me if I want to see it, I said yes, but he asked me if I have movies to exchange, if not, he won't borrow me......

I'm not an idiot who always bother people this and that, the last time I ask him to fixed my PC was 3 months ago, and he keep yelling I didn't paid his money! I got pissed off, I ask him why you charge money to your friend, and he replied, you want me to fix your comp for free??!! I paid him dinner, but he think that that dinner didn't cost me 40$, so he keep yelling..

I got enough, $40 to re-format and re-install the programs, 50$ for help to switch a flat tire and 5$ for gaz just for coming....

He dun seems like joking and I think I won't ask him for help anymore. I rather pay other technicans to come fix it. I just can't stand for a friend that always ask you for $ when you need his help.

Damn...

Wow...what a friend
I never charge my friends when I come look at their pc or whatever...that reminds me I borrowed my videocard to my friend...his hardware was broke...I thought it was his vga or memory..but it was the memory what was broke...but it is fixed no...no charge...
If I would live near you I'd help you even tho I don't know you

But hey you're not the only one that is pissed
A friend of mine said she would come with me to Rotterdam.
This morning she called me and said she couldn't go because she had a...."conversation for a job"(don't know what word that is in english) ...now I have to go alone! and that pretty much sux *** because I live on the east side of the Netherlands and Rotterdam is on the west side. Its pretty far away and I must go by train because I haven't got my drivers license yet. Im only 17
But I think she is lying to me! She is mad at me that I didn't want to be her boyfriend and last time she asked me to go out with her...but I refused...I wasn't in the mood..and I think she's trying to hit me back

"With friends like that, who needs a broke brother in-law"...lol

I NEVER charge my friends for anything. I think its wrong, especially if I consider them a GOOD friend. And my friends don't charge me for anything either. Sometimes, if it was really worth it, I go ahead and pay them even when they don't ask or refuse it.

If you consider him a good friend, you really need to find some new ones.

Looks like this 'friend' of yours is more concerned with the washingtons than with you...

Aw well, at least now you know where he's standing...

I'd be a millionare with no friends if I did that.

building computer is my hobbie and I build/fix stuff for
friends all the time. I even give them old parts if I have
them.

I always joke that I work for food. Home cooked meals
when you're a bachelor is worth more than petty cash.

dude find new buddies to hang out with.

That is absolutely wrong. He is not your friend.

I have spent countless hours fixing computers for people and I have never charged anybody a dime. People have offered to pay me but I always refuse.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!
I f'cking HATE people that ask for money and pretend to be friends. None of my friends ever got money from me and I never asked for money from none of them. If I was you, I'd try and get your friend to do something else for you and then tell him to fukc off and never talk to him again. That way you won't feel bad for buying him two meals (he should thank you for them)

I've worked on enough of my friends computers.... i never ask for money in return. never have n i never will.

i've given my friends extra pieces of ram that i have lying around, this n that, cd drives, harddrives, n i've never asked for anything, but they also do the same for me...

once i changed my motherboard, n it had an agp video card slot, n i didn't have an agp card, n my friend had his older videocard lying around, and he just gave me that...
another friend later gave me a little better one
and then that friend gave me an ATI xpert2000 (32mb) a lil later after
i had another friend give me a voodoo5 64mb card, after he upgraded to the Geforce 4 ti4600..... I never installed the voodoo tho..... now i bought my own radeon 9000pro

but ye, i've installed new drives for them, reformated enought imes for them, installed hardware, this and tahat, given them hardware that i don't need.... n both ways non of us ask for anything in return
