Yeah our forces are well trained, but the funding and lack of proper equipment is hindering our production. Canada was a integral part of WW II, however, since then things have changed (duh). What really got to me was this woman who wrote into Crossfire on CNN and they had enough guts to read it out...this woman from texas was talking about Canadian support against Iraq, and how we were sending 6000 troops, 2 battleships and some odd number of fighter jets, and she had enough nerve to say with the "exchange rate" it equals a canoe, beaver and something or other. I understand that they don't speak for everyone, as I know many fine Americans, but these people really really irritate me...I just don't get American government, not the ppl (cept that one woman ) I mean, renaming French Fries and French toast due to a lack of French support??? Thats just childish...
BTW my bad on the first post, I should have been more specific, I did not mean Americans in general *slaps self*

What the Canadians are best known for now is probably their specialized divisions/teams. Canadian snipers played a big part in the Afghanistan "conflict."
Hey, and no offense, but there are stupid people everywhere, Canada included (sorry)

The other thing I find "childish" are the people that are refusing to buy stuff made in France. Hello McFly, how many things are actually made in the USA any more. How much is made in North Korea! Also, no one is talking about banning Russian Vodka, yet Russia has also stated that they would veto any UN war resolution.
I hate politics.
Any one want to to start a tribe down in South America, and leave all the chest thumping behind?
Just my rant.

I think North Korea poses more of a threat. And I just saw on TV that some local stores are dumping french wine into the river..Gimme a break.

"French" toast was actually invented by an American whose last name happens to be French. It's not French in any way. French Fries were invented in Belgium. They're not French either. At least people could go after something that was at least 100% French.
