My first car was a hand me down from my cousin. A 1987 Honda Civic DX Hatch 5 Speed. Had it for about 6 months and then picked up whats in my sig. It was recently reposessed and I missed it for all of 5 seconds and then took my car out for a ride and quickly forgot all about it.

oops, just realized i missed this thread by about a year. lol

my first was a 1981 ford Mustang.Mustangs are my favorite car in the world I would kill for a 69 boss 302 or a shelby or GT 350H., BUT this car was crap got it for 800 bucks from a car retarded woman I'm willing to bet it never had the oil changed in like 5 years The thing sucked so bad that it even caught fire when we drove it home. But 6 months and aprox. 2 grand later we had it running good And I drove it to high school for 2 years until I got the only thing I've had worse then that a damn chevy S-10 P.O.S.

My first car was a 1975 Datsun B210 2 door. I think it had the A13 engine. Looking way back then, it was a simple car. My friends didn't like to ride in it because the gas tank was right behind the backseat backrest and fumes would seep in after filling it up.

Then I got a 1982 Datsun 210 station wagon. Had to replace all doors twice because they rusted at the bottom.

After that I got a 1985 Chevy Blazer S10 with a 2.5 liter Pontiac TBI engine. Tranny was a 4 speed auto and had the 4x4 package. That tranny had to be rebuilt once and it never stopped leaking after that. Ran it a full month with a small crack in the cylinder head.

And about 6 months ago I got my Protege.

1979 VW Scirocco. Silver, black interior, 1.6 with Bosch FI, 4-speed stick. It was lowered 2 inches and had a front air dam and swaybars (had been autocrossed). Utterly reliable, and could easly outrun my friend's '78 Camaro (V6).Very very rusty, unfortunately. Got it in 1988; in the spring of 1990 the frame cracked, and I had to junk it.

I'm still on a quest for another one, (someday when I have money to burn) but WOW are they rare cars!

Oh, and the Pro is car #22 for me...Went through a lot of clunkers.

My first car is the Protege. My car now is the modified Protege. Feels like a completely different car.

First Car

Fisrt Car: 1993 Red Dodge Stealth ES. 223 hp's... gitty up! It moves, baby. I still have it, and I think I'm the only teenager around with 2 cars... sorta. My dad has his 98 Stang GT convertable, and we share the Stealth now, but I ACTUALY drive the Stealth everyday. Tryin to keep the milage on the P5 arround, because I'm going to be commuting back and forth to college everyday (around 40 miles total), and your warenty could sure run out quick that way.
