And of course the ONLY time we REALLY look at the guages while at speed is that automatic response to look at the speedo the moment you see a cop!!!
So true, even when I know I am going the speed limit. I hate those tense seconds when you drive by a cop and keep looking in your rear view mirror for the cherries to light up.
