I'm a skinhead so hair gel is just like adding crust to my scalp.

yeah shaved heads... but to just be different i have kept my sideburns...

just so this isnt a total thread jack... i sometimes use gel when the burns are too long and i dont wanna trim them cause im lazy.. but the head in with an electric clipper, shortest setting, no guard.

That is one of the oldest (and cheapest) hair gels around! But no, I do not use it on my hair. In fact, I rarely use anything in my hair...too icky feeling.

I admit I use gel also, but hey, I was around for the '80s. I needed SOMETHING to keep my purple hair sticking straght up!
I am really picky about the kind I use (and no I'm not gay!) used to use nothing but L'oreal but Dep is actually pretty good and a lot cheaper.

Well yeah when it comes to gel/styling products i do not skimp. I us one of two things this stuff is called ICE and it has on the package it is "hair glue" and no kidding you can use like not even a dime size amount and it will hold all day and night, but really your hair is not going to put someones eye out LOL the price tag on this probaly 8oz tube is $16.00 i have also rec'd (from my sis) a gel called Hard UP gel LMFAO (so fitting) by Bed Head not sure of the price but I would say $8-10 for a 8oz tube. You think i am crazy for paying that much but if you consider not having the gel flaking and looking like a bad case of dandruff and also I buy a tube once every 4-5 months its not that bad...

You use ICE, you lucky bastard. I used it for a few months then my barber stopped carring it and I just cannot find it anywhere.

I have switched over to got2b glued, a spiking glue. And half the price of ICE. It really gets the job done.
