Cell Service
What cell service and phone does everyone use?
How is it? :wee: |
Verizon. works really good here and seattle. 35 for 4300 mins.
|
I use Voice Stream, have a couple of phones, carry a Motorola T-193 right now. I love the service! 3000 anytime minutes--$49.99
:ak47: |
alltel.... it blows major
|
Verizon all the way. I get free phones and upgrades whenever I want, so I always have a good phone. :D I love working next to the Verizon store.

Sprint PCS right now and the phone is a sanyo scp-4700 pretty nice phone and all... sprint is decent, the digital works just about anywhere i've driven so far except out in the boonies in kentucky and indiana, lol
haha, i had alltel once and crappy starcrap (startac) phone... haven't been back since |
I'm on my third cell phone company and fourth physical phone.
First I had Aerial, which then became VoiceStream. When they merged with VoiceStream, the billing got all screwed up and I never once received a correct bill. Worst customer service ever, and the service didn't cover some cities that I travel to, so I dropped 'em. Went with Sprint PCS when my son was born prematurely and stuck in intensive care for a month in Rochester, NY (one of the cities not covered by VoiceStream). When I came back home to Houston, I discovered that my neighborhood is in a "hole" in Sprint's coverage. They kept telling me they'd "make an adjustment" but of course that was crap and they never did anything about it. I really liked the Samsung N200 phone, though. Now I have Verizon, and I'm finally a happy cell customer. Billing has been correct, coverage has been great both around here and where I've travelled, so I'm pleased. I have an LG phone which is OK but nothing to write home about. |
I'm with Voicestream and like the pricing/features. But the billing and customer service is the worst. My bill is always screwed and it takes MANY nasty phone calls to them for correction.
|
I use Nextel, and I think it is the best phone service I have had so far. And it is great since everyone is getting them now, so you can use the direct connect. I barely use my phone now, I usually only use the 2-way.
|
I've had ATT.. Voicestream.. on Cingular right now.. I like Cingular.. and have the AOL Mobile Communicator as well! Gotta get 'em IMs and Emails!
|
None of the above. None of any. I can't stand cell phones, though I think I should get one for emergencies only. IF I get a cell I think I'll be going with Verizon though, sounds like they have some good plans.

I have the LG-TM510 also. I like that you don't have to open it to see the caller ID and clock and stuff, but I don't much like the fat profile or the menu system.
