This is better than HBO!

Im sittin here watching msnbc who is covering a live action battle. Machine gun fire, tanks, explosions. (Explosions kick ***!) **** this war should be on pay-per-view. Its amazing what this war is like, just turn on the news and you can watch people die! Reminds me somewhat of the Gladiator fights. Watch people kill each other for entertainment. Whats this world coming to?

Thats not what I meant, I was comparing this to the barbaric gladiator fights of the past. I never said watching people die was entertaining. However I may have implied that, but thats not what I was trying to say.

OK, say that it does win, do you really want to have our commander-in-chief to go up on the podium and give a speech?

I don't really like that fact that we can see so much on tv. All the Iraqias need to do is tune in to find out where we are, and what we're doing. Perhaps they should do like a day-delay of reporting NON-critical information. Oh well

so far all the live reportings from the front line have all excluded information regarding location and strategy of the troops, or their weapons capabilities, all they are showing are cars moving through desert and live fighting actions... nothing that the Iraqis can use for strategizing... the armed forces have strict guidelines for frontline reporters on what they can and cannot show...

I don't know about you guys
but iti sucks to be on either front of this war
that is why I didn't want this war to happen
people will die, no matter how technologically
advanced a person might be

I only hope that it ends quicker

but I agree, no more action rental movies for me
I could find it all on TV now

The Iraqi's, and the rest of the world, pretty much know what our operational capabilities are already (we may have a few things up our sleeves that are still a secret) and they definitely know the equipment and people moving in on them on the ground. Its easy to find out what an armor division is made up of (how many tanks, support, etc).

Of course, I don't think our news (or anyone elses) is telling them something they don't already know. I'm betting they are pretty damn aware of a wall of steel heading straight for them and all the bombs being dropped across that country. The resistance so far hasn't been organized enough to really make any use of it.
