Audioslave

I know it's been out for awhile and some of have been listenting to it for weeks, so have i, but just today i actually sat down and LISTENED to it. and it's probably been talked about here....i don't surf here to often, sorry if it's old news...

I must say it's quite a pleasure to hear Chris Cornell's voice again, he dosen't show his extreme range on this CD, but he does show great composure and style. The backing band (RATM) shows off their talent for new techniques and styles as well. While not the ***** out rock like SG or RATM, but a very nice mix of new musical styles.

Fav song - Like a Stone. Such powerfull delivery and a tone that just brings you right in to the heart of the music. It's great!

I agree Audioslave is a great conglomeration of two great bands. Heavy bass lines and powerful bass drum kicks...only thing that could be a downfall is that the drummer is a bit heavy on the high hats.

Same here...I've been waiting for this for a long time.

I personally really dont like the two together. But then again i never liked RATM, or Chris... so that could be it. Eh, just another annoying band to me, its not gonna last.

(had to be the one against what you guys are talking about)

It's an OK CD. I've had it for a while, I listened to it a few times on a long road trip. I like the song contents better than the RATM songs (I hate whiny political bullshit). If del la roca wasn't so political, RATM would have been so much cooler.

i listen to the music and melodies as with musicianship, not the statements or messages. I paid to see you ROCK not TALK!
