Just thought I'd share this. My dad was telling me about a guy who he went to high school with back in '73. His name is George Gobel. This guy is a freakin' genius. He won the Ig Nobel prize for Chemistry once. He has developed a way to have charcoal ready to cook on in 3 SECONDS!! He uses 10 gallons of liquid oxygen and then lights the numerous pounds of charcoal.

Oh yeah. Back when Microsoft was just getting started, he interviewed for the position of being third in charge of the entire company. He got the job but decided he didin't want to take it because he said he wouldn't be able to live with himself after seeing some of the underhanded stuff they did at Microsoft. His college roommate ended up getting the job and made around $5 billion on Microsoft's stock. Not too bad huh? Just when you think cool stuff can't happen in Indiana, to your dad's friends no less!

George went on to be in charge of the Nuclear reactor at Purdue University. I would imagine he still makes a decent living, so don't feel too bad for him....
