Anyone compliment your ride?

beside that one time somebody asked if my car was an Infiniti , most of the compliments I get for my car is how clean and shiny I keep my car
On a sad note though, there are still a lot of non-car enthusiast people not knowing wtf a Mazda Protege is
thanks goodness though no one has yet been stupid enough to call my car a Honda

Here in the bay area....I haven't seen a whole lotta P5's....so it does get looks somewhat often.
I've gotten comments from young guys at the auto parts store and other places.....but my favorite came at the gas station. A lady in a beemer was leaving....and she stopped by where I was filling up and said, "that's a verrry nice looking car"

well since i've had my p5 my bestfriend/cousin got a 2002 protege sedan, and my other bestfriend has changed his mind from getting a 2003 carolla to a pro also. so thats a pretty good compliment.

I always get compliments on my p5 a couple of people even confused it for the is300 wagon. After i dropped and put rims on her i got people breaking there necks everywhere i go. Or maybe its my haircut. I dont know but it gets alot of attention the girlies love it. I went out with a few of my boys the other night with like four chicks and they all wanted to ride in my p5 its like my boys cars didnt even exist. RAVE reviews
I own a yellow MP3 and since my purchase of it last November I have had plenty of compliments on it as well. Both old and young folks have commented nice things about my car. Even if they didn't like it, they would still make friendly (stupid) jokes like, "why didn't you buy a yellow car?" .... Dunno, some folks think the color is just too wild (or ugly) or some other reason.
Only surprise to me is that I really haven't had many people who tried to race me. Maybe last time I recall of one guy who wanted to race me... few months ago... he was driving a Civic EX with a huge exhaust. Only reason why I noticed him wanting to challenge me is because of his exhaust drowning out the noise my stereo system was thumping out. I turned my head to see who the hell was doing that and he had his windows rolled down, just smiling and staring at my car wanting to race. I followed him a ways until he started to weave in and out against heavy traffic... so nah, I backed off... didn't feel like driving stupid with my new car.
Normally, I don't drive very aggressive so I usually just get a lot of nods and smiles (or stares) from other drivers.
