Did anyone ever compliment the look of your Protege. My P5 seems to get a lot of attention maybe because there are only a few of them in my area. I got compliments from a 25 year old guy who drives a 97 stock Prelude, teenagers stare and admire it, a guy who drives a RSX also like it, and once this guy who drove a Porsche Boxter S, just locked his eyes on the P5 when I was making a left.

I wonder who desgined the 3rd Gen, was it a Japenese designer, someone from Ford?

Occasionally when im pumping gas or running into a store someone will tell me how nice the P5 looks. Most of the time ppl ask what it is and if its new. I have to admit on a few occasions there is chick or two that comments how cute it is. There is also all the negative attention it gets from the haters who cant stand someone else having something nice or the civics trying to race me at the light. But the good outwieghs the bad

i love it, when i first got my red p5 i took it to a friends shop to get tints and there was this doctor there with a brand new lexus checking out my ride for the longest time, asking me all these questions, then kicking himself when he found out how much i payed. and that was 6 months ago since then i've gotten tons more. just makes me love my baby even more.

well ive got a few whille at the gas station, and the good share of them while at the car wash (local car hang out, kinda stupid, but its fun!)....

but does having your girlfriend and ex-girlfriends (previously saying this though) saying its pretty count?....lol oh well

lol my ex-girl used to love my ride ( i met her before she saw my car)
but she used to call all her friends to come over her house when i was there to see it.
i liked the admiration, but woulda perfered to be alone with her more often.

oh tell me about it, my ex would always invite friends along when we were going to have a quite night together or something, that and now she disses my car saying its a pos compared to her ugly cavalier (sorry but a aqua cavalier with oz racing wheels and a horrid wing.... thats ugly).... oh well we live and learn, that and remind our selves why we arent dating those ex g/fs

now my new g/f......she loves my car, even if she isnt a car nut, so its all good

I always get compliments on my car, since I put the Jspec front end on and the jspec rear lights, half the damn time people don't know what the hell it is , .. especially when I have the car gleaming with the shine on the tires, ..
I get a lot of stares and double takes

I know I don't got a Protege (yet), but I usually get, "wow nice car, how do you drive like that?" (Note: slammed 3 1/2 inches) Every enthusiast I run into asks me, "have an engine swap?" and demand to see motor, its kinda sad that engine swaps are becoming played out I have actually gotten to the point where when I go to local shows I will walk past a car if it doesn't have a swap Somebody needs to save me from the Honda/Acura scene, I am dying slowly.

my car looks pretty stock, but people compliment my rims (Painted Gunmetal), Nitrous Install, the stereo, and the 1/4 times. I love my car more than i like the attention though , it rocks, too bad its in the shop :cry: I miss it already

well when you live in toronto, there is thousands of p5's running around so people don't even notice it, I do get comp's from other stock p5 owners though

Down here in South Central Texas there are quite a few P5's but I have yet to see a modded one. I have only seen one Mp3 also..Was hoping to see more.

Well here in salem im the only one that has a 3rd gen fix up and so every time I go any where here every one is like " dam thats one of the baddest protege I have ever seen " and everyone is starting to wants one now because If im at the street races I have one of the fastest cars out there for not having much done......I hope more people start to realize that hondas are not going to be the number one car to mod anymore.......
