Am I sick enough to skip work?

What do you think-having body temperature of 100.8F (or 38.2C)
is reason good enough to skip work? Haven't had a sick day in 4 years...But on another hand-if I get some complications from neglecting my condition I will NOT be compensated...May be flowers on my grave?

You could take a personal day if you don't want to call in sick. It's unpaid but you are allowed 10 of them a year in Ontario. Just call, and say "I am taking a personal day and won't be in" You don't have to give a reason, and they can't ask for one.

Go to work. Stay home when you feel GOOD so you can enjoy the time to yourself.
