personally, if i was a rapper who came up out of like the ghettos and hoods or new york, L.A, or what have you...and it was either stay underground and maybe be good but your not makin much

or you could go mainstream, a little less than unique and make a lot of money, well to be honest im gonna do what it takes to make some money, i wanna provide a better life for my family or somthing...

why should i care if people think im fake? i dont, because im making a lot of money off records...thats just what i think, no i didnt grow up in a hood so i wouldnt know..but this is how i assume it is

There isn't as much money making reocrds as people think. I am an aspiring artist myself so I know a little bit about the game. the reason thser guys make money is because the reocrds sell if they do not sell anything they are not paid. Many people think that a record deal automaticaly means they are going to get paid. this is so not true. this is quote from outkat if you don't move your feet then I don't eat. in other words sell units.
