Was UP

I think what got me the most was when paul or anyone for that matter. They would be gettin passed up and they would be like WHAT! then they would floor it. I don't know about them but when I 'm racing the gas don't come off the floor Hell I'm practicaly standing in my seat. As far as the 15 speed tranny it was like that in the 1st one. I like this one better (not just cause my car was there)
Let face it this is a sci fi movie based on reallity. It would be boring if the races only lasted 7-13 secs. You know how many races they would have to have. The problem I see is going to be the copy cat racers out there. That for some reason don't know the diff between fiction and the real world. You know some dumbass will try to jump a bridge. I like the racing better in this one. I like the relay idea.

so I just saw Fast and.........

Well I just went to go see the movie tonight, my brother wanted to see the movie so I took him to see it . Anyway my opinion of the movie was it was decent , but I really did not like it ...
what I liked about the movie was
- the hot as hell skyline, disconnecting the axles was a good idea.
- The racing scenes were nice, plus it was a nice idea for them to liven up the racing game, by not just making it a 1/4 mile race and that's it .. haha you actually had to come back ..
- I think Vin Deisel will make a come back, that is just to obviouse.
- All the sweet cars
- the nice attempt of adding more dialog and fast american cars
-Was nice that protege was in the movie, but ummm if you did not look really close you would not have seen it ..

What I did not like,
-what the hell was ludacris in this movie... I mean he was like a waste of space,, shoot for all of that they could have put me in the movie and gave me some of that money he got.. He did not drive and all he did was frigin gamble.
- Some of the cars were ricy...
- The movie just didn't grab me like the F&F1 did. That movie was just the bomb in my eyes, I know there was not much dialog , but I honestly can say we need Vin Diesel back....
-The behind the scenes racing life was not really touched like in the 1st movie.
- No life like stop light racing , which everyone knows they tend to get into.

Overall , I thought it was a decent movie , but to be honest , it is a movie that I could have waited for the DVD to come out with. To me there is really nothing special about F&F2. I hope they make the next movie have a longer running time and also take a closer look into the everyday lives of the racers , along with them doing what they do to tune their cars.
I don't even think I will buy the DVD to be honest with you ..
I don't think it is that serious..

Talking Finally!

The reason I created this post was because i saw a Protege in the flick. Know after a few days the owner of the car makes a post. It is like having a celebrity on the board!
Thanks, the system works

did they just grab like 500 cars as extras like the first one for that warehouse scene or did they actually cast them?

Has anyone seen "The last race"? It's a short movie about the racing scene... So much better than the F&F stuff, they should make a full movie out of it. Check it out on kazaa.

Well to be honest there was a nice P5 bagged the whole car was airbrushed and full interior and 1 other Pro with rims only.
Honestly there where alot of cars that ifeel shouldn't of been there including mine. But then when I watch FF1 carefully I see alot of basically stock cars in the backround. I was very lucky that I got such a good shot of my car. I was only there for 2 days everyone else spent weeks. Sucks for them. The fact is my car is ricy and thats what they wanted. This is my first show car and will be turned in to a racer soon. yep the grafix will be comin off shortly. I'll be puttin more grafix on but not half as ricy. and be changin the rims. I've been street racin since 94. so this car goes against everything I'm use to. But to be dead honest I love all the attention I get.

I thought that was you Moresio but just wanted to be sure.

i saw it!!! that movie was tight!!! loved it and will watch it again!!!

OF COURSE i saw the red protege!!! i was so excited...i was like "theres my car, (meaning pro's)!!!" (smacking my bf's arm while doing so)

TIM: thanks for representing the pro's and the tampa area!! love ur ride

i also agree that some cars should have not been in the movie...for one, why would any one want a lancer?! they should of picked a protege or the speed....and the american cars?! whats up w/that? in the first one i could not even point out an american car, the second one, left and right, u got the ford, chevy, pontiac
but the skyline, DAMN, that was sweet!!!!

They should have had a Subaru WRX, that would have been nice. The lancer to me looked like a norman lancer unless you look at the front and see the intercooler, the eclipse was ghetto but the Orange domestic, I was like damn that thing is a beast. I would have love to see more of the skyline. I think that they will come out with a 3rd one with Vin in the movie.

I doubt it. I saw him in multiple interviews talking about how he turned down a lot of money to be in 2F2F. He said he does not want to be the guy from the Fast and Furious movies, like Paul Walker is. I would love it, but I doubt it is possible.

I thought i saw a MS in that shot also with a roll cage. I can understand it is a movie but they didnt have to add them jumping a draw bridge at 125 mph and actually landing it and driven away. And why did that chick jump it she knew she lost why ruin her car and risk her life ?
Yup, that was definitely a Spicy Orange Mazdaspeed Protege with a roll cage. It also had a "Racing Beat" vinyl sticker on the windshield. I wish they had gotten a better close-up of the car... I also believe I spotted a MSP during the warehouse scene, during the aerial view. And then I spotted Tim's red Protege and I was like "REPRESENT"!!!

About the movie, I personally thought it sucked and the acting was horrible - and what was up with Paul Walker talking like he's from the hood??? "Bro" and "cuz" - what a loser!
