broke my power steering pump. 150$ just for the labor. only good thing is i know the mazda guys and they can get me a new one for free but i have to pay labor, hence the 150$.

from NC to AL would be more than that! I was just joking about how much they were charging you for 30 minutes worth of work...
loosen the belt, disconnect the 2 bolts holding the pump in, loosen the inlet/outlet lines, swap in new pump....reverse...
with a set of needle nose pliers, a 14mm socket, 12mm socket and 10mm socket yoyu can do it yourself in about 30 minutes.

yea, i got tthe part for free (im out of warranty) but i have to pay for the labor. i wanted to just get the part and put it in myself but they said i would have to pay for it then...
