i have enjoyed my 02 protege for 3 years and im looking for other mazda owners tin the framingham or sarounding areas to chat,test,tune,bs,cruse,etc.

 

Welcome! There's actually a big group of Protege and former Protege (now RX-8 and Miata) owners in that area. they're all part of NEPOC (New England Protege Owners Club)

where abouts? i work in watertown...we have a bunch of us in and around the boston and parts south that get together for meets, dinner, F1 boston....maybe we'll see you at a get together sometime..any mods to your 3?

 

really? i haven't been to active on this site because i felt like there wasn't to much of that. I'm from Peabody/Salem/Ipswich area. So about 20minutes north of boston.

My only mod is a Fujita CAI, i just bought the car in july and i'm saving up money for exhaust, rims, tint, and short shifter....i dunno what i want after that though.

what about you?

haha i wish my car looked like that stock!...mods are to expensive for a college kid

 

I'm a senior in college so I definitely feel for ya. I got a job just so that I could continue modding (my food/housing expenses being covered by student loans).

I haven't had a job for over 3 months though and it's killing me for my car to just.. sit there, nothin new happening.

 

yea i'm in my 3rd year, but i think i'm on the 5 or 6 year plan My job covers the car loan, rediculous insurance payments, and the tiny part of school that isn't covered by my loans.

your mazda5 looks nice though, what year is it? it does suck not having money for mod's there a ton of stuff i wanna get done to it, i'm holding off until after the snow though.

 

Protege5 --Bazooka Joe and I both have 2002s. you can click mine to see the unfortunate state the car is in right now though I haven't driven it for a week and won't be for at least two more.

ya, thers's a group of us from another mazda forum...the "club" if you wanna call it that (very loosly formed) is NEPOC...new englnad protege owners club...although they're aren't many proteges left, many have ms6's, rx8's ms3...etc...so all are welcome to join us..i'll try and keep any meets schedule "over there" posted here as well.
as far as my mods on my car, well what isn't stock ???
