Back again

Well, we came back from the eastern maine class c football finals with 2nd place. Not too bad I guess...seeing that our 3rd string quarterback was in there. And he just got the pins out of his thumb...lol The score was only 14-0 so it wasn't like it was a slaughter or anything. I guess it's off to husson college to play next year for me.

Well I have waited and waited and still haven't gotten back my date....I still think someone out there hates me. Who knows....I sure as hell don't.

:fu: that's for the state of maine!!

I do think that an extended northeast chapter would be great..more people more fun. Hopefully by then you won't have seen my name in the paper for killing all the DMV bastards!!

Well i'm out for now, don't have too much fun now guys.

itzkcatz November-17th-2002 04:48 PM

Why dont u call them maybe they lost it or it didnt make it there ..Jon

JRizzle November-17th-2002 06:55 PM

that is a good piont, when i sent mine in, i got the date back in 2 weeks, and that was during the summer, which usually takes longer...shout them a holla

irish6714 November-17th-2002 07:53 PM

Like I said I am down. The only thing is we will need to plan the meets way in advance so I can make them. I have a baby on the way and will need the time to make arangements to drive down. So the North East Chapter Unites. I belive it will be funner this way. I think each state need to have a point of contact (POC) so if any new members join the POC can make contact and welcome them. Just My .02

THEGOLDPRO November-17th-2002 08:28 PM

i vote alex as POC lol if he wants. i still think we need some mini meets in the snow. have alittle fun in an empty parking lot or something. i personally love the snow, i love to drive in it, i love to rip the e-brake in it. lol so im down. yea eric you need to call them or something, or send a letter bomb to his house. something. or even kidnap his dog. or would that be dognap? lol whatever.

itzkcatz November-17th-2002 08:34 PM

i found another kid from mass.. where the hell did all these northeast pro owners come from. Its like they were hiding or something.. oh well

THEGOLDPRO November-28th-2002 10:30 AM

well it look like every one died to me.

itzkcatz November-28th-2002 12:00 PM

We are still here just eatting turkey ..Jon

THEGOLDPRO November-28th-2002 01:48 PM

lol if our turkey ever cooks

turbonium959 November-28th-2002 07:56 PM

Hey guys! How was your turkey, and holidays? Things do seem to come a bit slow, and I think it is the holidays to blame. There is nothing wrong with that though. Soon the snow will be gone, and grass will grow again, so we can have nice meets and BBQ on it. I hope that snow doesn't go away too soon. I haven't done too many e-brake donuts. Have a safe and happy holidays. Joe, best wishes with the baby!

irish6714 November-28th-2002 08:01 PM

Hey guys
Sorry I have not posted in a while. I have good news. I am a dad. We had our little boy 21st of November. He is 3 weeks early, but we don't care. All is good, I will post a pic as soon as I can. My time on the internet is limited. I came home from VA for the week to see him, but I am headed back on Sunday 1st of Dec.

THEGOLDPRO November-30th-2002 03:19 PM

itzkcatz November-30th-2002 09:01 PM

How did the clutch come out .. Was it hard? good to hear ur a father .. whats his name? ..Jon

THEGOLDPRO December-1st-2002 07:41 PM

hell no it wasn't easy. it was a bitch. i had to take apart the whole front end. lol the tranny, the left drive train, take out the battery, the intake, take down the exhaust, like 3 engine mounts had to come out. the starter had to come down, then we had to fight with the tranny to get it off, lets just say i will never do it again. lol but it feels real good.

itzkcatz December-1st-2002 08:13 PM

i hope ur joking ?? r u ...?

THEGOLDPRO December-2nd-2002 01:01 PM

hell no im not joking. im freaking serious. you have to tear the whole front of the car apart to get to the clutch, i got pics ill be posting soon.

itzkcatz December-2nd-2002 02:17 PM

Well that sucks i would rather pay the 350 for a shop to do it and i will know its in right ....Jon

Hey guys

Thanks, I am happy to be a father(again). I don't think he will be tooling around in a p-5, but I will attempt to gear him towards working on cars as a hobby. Well I am back in VA for about 10 to 12 more days, then back to cold maine. So whats up with the club, what are we doing? Ben, Aleksey are we going to do the idea I told you guys about? If so we need to get it started. Let me know.

THEGOLDPRO December-3rd-2002 05:20 PM

im all for it joe. we need to make a plan now,and whats to come. also i posted pics of the clutch change in the picture section. they are kinda random. lol.

turbonium959 December-3rd-2002 08:22 PM

Yeah, the pics came out good. They even look like Monster Garage, you know that show on Discovery Channel. How does the new clutch feel, and how soon are you going to need new tires? Hehehe.

THEGOLDPRO December-4th-2002 07:59 PM

lol thats the garage in our shop here at the base. the big motor you saw was one out of our 47 footer. a boat. lol the clutch feels good. no new tires for me till after winter.

irish6714 December-17th-2002 07:52 PM

Hey guys
Well my car is in the shop having the clutch and flywheel replaced. I was noticing a slipping and some major clutch chatter. I was only at the service dept for about 30 mins before they decided it was bad. We went for a test ride and didn't even make it out of the parking lot. So other than that things are good, sleep is in short supply but that come in time with a new baby. I will talk to you later

itzkcatz December-17th-2002 07:53 PM

Goodluck man.. did u upgrade to a performance clutch? ..Jon 93 lx

New Owner of 98 DX

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on much, been working and being crazy. But just thought I'd let everybody know that I still have my old 323, but I just purchased a 98 Pro DX, Auto, A/C, CD Player. It's black with 108K highway miles. Bought it at Darling Ford in Bangor out back on the wholesale lot for $2500!! Couldn't believe it really, but I'll find a pic somewhere and throw it on here!

turbonium959 December-31st-2002 11:42 AM

Hey, Ian. Nice to hear from you, especially that now you have a second gen, like me. So do live in Bangor now, or did you just buy the car there? Also, you would need to give me info about this car, so I can add it to our site. So far, nothing major have been happening, but we are growing, there are ten people in the chapter now. Hopefully, once the spring starts, we can have more meets, and more people joining us. Talk to you later.

THEGOLDPRO December-31st-2002 02:18 PM

sweet 10 people, i remember when it was 3. lol ian where do you live?? we should meet up sometime, have lunch or something, i like to try and meet everyone. but keep posting and update us on your new pro.

itzkcatz December-31st-2002 04:17 PM

Yeah it should be cool in spring.. i can do some cool mods ...when r we installing that clutch ben???..Jon 93 lx

THEGOLDPRO December-31st-2002 07:52 PM

whenever you got it, ill put it in. lol well of course you gotta come to maine to. but i think in the spring the ct club and the maine club should meet together, we can like meet in mass. its half way. we can have a kick ass meet. what do you guys think??

ProtZero December-31st-2002 07:57 PM

Hey

Well they never got my papers, so I resent them again. Should come in 3 weeks....I hope...but I won't hold my breath..might die...

My pro is sitting in the bank for now, until I get my new alternator in.
New2Game...do you live near bangor, I live in prospect, that is like 27 miles from bangor, I go there all the time.

God its been like 5 months..lol ..Jon

new2game323 January-1st-2003 08:57 PM

Hey, what's up? I live in Mars Hill, (woo hoo), right in front of Big Rock actually, nice snowboarding this year too. I lived in Bangor for a year in 2001, and then got a job up here and lost my job and ex-gf down there  . My roommate just bought a 95 Pro DX 5 spd too, so I'll get him on here on then we'll have 11!! But I'm hoping this spring we'll all have a chance to get together and have a good meet, will be nice now that I actually have a 2nd gen Pro, but I'm not sure if I like the auto tranny yet or not, i've been driving a 5 spd for 6 years, so an auto seems like learning to ride a bike again. I'm looking for a set of 15" triple gold Player 70 rims if anybody knows anywhere that sells tire/rim packages let me know. I'm also looking at getting the J-Spec bumber and the 2002 spoiler put on if anybody has any connections. Do the Alteeza tail lights fit on the 98? I've read some places they do, some places they don't, but I'm gonna look into getting those with the J-Spec headlights for the front too, I think I saw somewhere they were in the $180-$200 range, which isn't bad for a cosmetic thing. Just letting you guys know what I have for ideas.

new2game323 January-1st-2003 09:02 PM

how do you change your signature information, i need to change all my info for the car.

go to the top of the page, and click user profile, then click edit profile, and change it. yea i hate automatics, i think they are gay lol.

new2game323 January-4th-2003 01:08 AM

Well I finally got to drive my car tonight for a while, for an automatic the car will motivate pretty good, I'm pretty sure I could smoke my friend's 5-spd, and it still gets decent gas mileage. Has anyone around here done the J-spec headlight or the bumper mod? Those are the first two things I'm changing, so I'm wondering if anybody could help with some info.
