Hey Mike, what have you already eliminated from what the problem might be?
Have you experimented by replacing anything?
Tried new igniter, new cap & rotor, new disty, checked all wires, checked all fuses and relays...it's narrowed down to a faulty ground, ecu, knock sensor,or knock control unit....the thing I REALLY dont have time for is tracking down a faulty ground..I live in an apt complex and they frown on working on cars, and my brother in law is pissed at me lately so his garage has been off limits
Plus I want to go ahead and start a little seed money for my Protege turbo project, and I'm tired of insuring 3 cars, and trying to mod 2 of them..it's EXPENSIVE..

My company moves their own co. cars all over the country, so I can get a good deal on that.
But when you think about it, 600.00 to you plus 500.00 to get it here and then figure a worst case scenario of 5-600 to fix? Add it up and I might as well look for one local that runs.
I was seriously thinking of sending you 600 bucks and then paying a towing co. in your area to take it to a local mechanic that you know/trust, tell them to fix it, then fly down and drive it back myself...but then what if it breaks down somewhere in the Okeefenokee Swamp: I'm sodomized and shot in the head by some toothless gay redneck and left to die in a chicken coop...
