yea the engine will breath better giving you a little better gas mileage

slightly, but not really significantly. Chances are, though, when you put it on and hear the sweet intake noise when you get on it... your right foot will get heavier and you'll end up with worse gas mileage. But if you drove it exactly the same, you'll get 1 or 2 miles to the gallon better.

Damb, Silverclassic already said it!!
I put one on and with the added performance I haven't been able to keep my foot out of it long enought to tell wethet or not it helps gasmilage. But by rule of thumb it should!
