I just pulled my 2.0 engine from my mazda 3 from the top. My question is...is it possible to reinstall from the top. It actually came out fairly simple from top. Im just concerned on getting the clutched aligned. . Has anyone installed from the top ?? I really don't wanna take transmission out and come from bottom. Please, any advice would be appreciated! thanks!

 

If you pulled it out from the top why it would not comes in from the top too???

 

dropping trans , bolt it together and install from bottom , ive done both ways and bottom is easier, other wise you can risk hanging up on a/c lines, header , and theres not as much clearence coming back in to get on input shaft cleanly
