hey guys im a noob, i just found the forum, so greetings and please help. i have an 05 3 with 148000 miles on it after my ac compressor going out recently, i get a grunting noise during 1 st gear when taking off (manual trans) no noise at speed... being winter they took off the compressor belt to keep it running until i get cash for repairs. i wouldnt think this would affect it???? any thoughts?
