ViS is the only company that I have seen that makes a carbon fiber hood for my car so far. Are they good... if not who else does?...

 

Fiber Images has a mold and is making OEM CF hoods for the Speed 3's. They also have a vented version coming as well. I'm not too knowledgable yet on the "swappability" of the Speed's body parts and the regular 3 hatch's, but I imagine they would be the same depending on years, because of the different grills. Could be way off though....

 

vis makes really good quality stuff. They've been in the scene for a while and have a good reputation. How much do they have the hood for?

 

Well on different sites that i have seen its anywhere from $500-$600

 

and i just have a regular 3.... sedan 2.0.. i went to fiber images and i also seen that they have a body kit for the 3 on their home page but when i go to products then to select the make and model they dont have a mazda 3 there???

 

I have an early production 2009 2.3 five door. I WANT to switch hoods with a Speed3 to get that powerbulge, or better yet a Hood with stock looking air intake like 2010 Speed 3's. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ANSWER THE FITMENT QUESTION? !!! Am the only person thats wants to bolt on a Speed3 hood onto my 3 hatch?
