I've got to agree with Roddimus on this subject. From the 3 on up through the MPV, there is no better looking, more appealing car company (again, at least one that caters to the "average" consumer) out there. I recently purchased a 2006 Velocity Red 5-spd Mazda3s hatchback and I too had looked at an '06 Civic. NO comparison. The Mazda3s has got to be one of (if not THE) best combinations of sport, economy, value and elegance on the road today. I think that Mazda really has the right idea with their new line.

Mazda3: Caters to a 20-something pre-professional (aka...ME) just out of college looking to still turn some heads, but be practical and economical about it.

Mazda5: Breaks new ground in an otherwise uninspired market. Enters a mini-minivan with all of the things that make Mazzies great, but with enough innovation to set it apart.

Mazda6: See the Mazda3 definition, but add about 8 years to the age And replace practical and economical with 240 freakin bhp!

...and the list goes on. All I can say is that I can't help but crack a smile every time I go through the gears in my Mazzy3s hatch. Heck, I can't help but crack a smile sitting here writing about it.
