Haha geez. I remember writing a thesis on this for economics, the "revival" of the civic. I stated that a new look would re-energize the Civic's market and allow for it to succeed. I thought it indeed was time for a Civic makeover, and i predicted it would do pretty well. Until I saw it, and now I realize that all it is is pretty ugly. The Mazda 3 is greater by far. However, with regards to non Mazda vehicles, the Acura RSX still looks a whole lot better than the Civic. Apparently Honda isn't copying it's own brands correctly, like most car companies do with their overseas brands <_<.

If honda were smart (in america) they'd make the RSX and re-make the Integra but call it a honda.

p.s. the new 197bhp Si is NOT impressive when you think that a decade ago honda already had a 200bhp 1.8L engine. Why is 197bhp from a bigger engine more impressive?

Because the stereo typical American is too ignorant of other cultures to know that there was a 200bhp 1.8L in japan.

much more aggresive, yet its got the saturn ion headlights which nobody seems to be a fan of. relocated rear door handle is a nice touch. i'm less concerned with looks and more concerned with how much of a performance gain mugen has given its latest civic project.

Wow, that looks like a Saturn... I don't like saturns...

That's about as disappointing as the VW Corolla... I mean Jetta.
