Hi all

This is my first post on here, so I'll try and be as detailed as posible.

Car - Mazda 3 1.6 d salon, 2004/5

I have noticed over the past few days that when starting the car, it takes a few turns to start, almost like the battery is dying. However I put a new battery in today and it is exactly same.

The symptoms are the same when the car is hot or cold, even after a 30 min journey and restarting immediately.

I sprayed some wd40 on the starter motor shaft, but still the same.

So this is where I am stuck, any feedback would be appreciated.

One other thing on a seperate issue, the turbo whistles louder than any TD I have owned before, is this a common trait of Mazda?
