Intermittent Clicking/Puffing Noise when heat or AC is on!
Hi everyone,
'08 Mazda3 i Touring here. I've got a problem with the Mazda I recently purchased that I can't find the right answer to with a search.
When the AC or heat is on, there is an intermittent clicking/puffing noise coming from the engine compartment that feels exactly like a misfire. I'm not sure at this point if I am imagining things, but if I leave it in a gear and run high RPM's I can even feel the car jolt a very small amount when the puff/click sound occurs.
This problem ONLY occurs when the heat or AC is on and occurs every 5-15 seconds in a seemingly random fashion. Any ideas on what it might be?
