Hey guys and gals this is my first post here on the forum. Got a question on installing some 12V Blue neon lighting kits for the footwells for the front seats. I own a 2011 Mazda 3i, I would like to install a push button on/off switch on the dashboard next to a vacant spot. I've included a photo from google to show exactly where I would want the on/off button to be (top right corner) . Does anyone know if I can pop off the plastic cover and install a push button switch or do I need to buy a whole new cluster switch (~$40) that would have 4 functional switches?

 

I don't see a pic showing exactly where... - over the coin holder there are vacant spots too.
Not too familiar with the 2011 model, but you could use an extra radio button too - like mine has one for satelite radio "SAT" that isn't connected which could be hooled to something else.
