600 bucks!! Ouch! Borla does make a fine exhaust though....should look and sound sweet!

 

that's the exhaust I want to put on if and when I get my 3. I'd imagine you could find it cheaper elsewhere rather than buying direct from Borla

I've also seen and heard the magnaflow system on the 2.3L 3, and it looks and sounds good. I've seen it for as low as $410, but can't remember where...Magnaflow makes some good stuff.

 

ohh my i had mines made for only 120 and is bigger than that not as shinny cause is titanium tip but is nice load and cool

yeah i know the guy and he didnt charge me tax and actually i gave him the muffler that was 40 bucks on ebay including s&h so actually it was 160

That sounds about right... I paid $200 for mine. I got a custom bent 2.5in. piping all the way back to the muffler. Took out the cat also(second one). I gave him a muffler that I bought from local shop.

 

you could get good deals with ppl you know, and i had the same thing that you did carbon took out the 2 cat but my pipe was 3.5 and the tip 4.0 the guy told me that was the max not to loose back pressure

 

I got a friend who is gonna hook me up.. can get tires/wheels at cost, said he will do paint for whatever it cost (just have to help him get car ready)... gonna make me a full exhaust sometime. gonna talk to him this weekend, see if he can get OBX headers (he knows he can get wagners).. etc.. etc.. don't know why i didnt think of him earlier.

 

for what car are you talking about the 3 or a protege and where do you live maybe you could help me out i need a paint job
