Ok so here goes...my car has about 48,000 miles on it. (A lot I know but I'm a nurse and travel daily) about 2 weeks ago I started noticing that what I would try to punch it it would rev up to about 5 or 6 grand without showing any kind of power. Been sluggish and then has started doing the revving thingy when I shift gears. Kind of like when you clutch and hold down the accelerator at the same time (which I'm not doing). Well today the Check Engine light came on and when I had Autozone run the CEL diagnostic it threw the code for EVAP leak, large. Well obviously I wanna know how to fix it and also if they could be related. My hubby thinks the tranny is going but I don't. Any help would be appreciated!
