I am doing my own intake as i have been doing with all of my cars, i noticed that in the 06 model the MAF is on the lid to the air box, does it come out? what is the deal with it, i just want to clarify if it can be taken out before i purchase anything. thanks

 

It should come off w/ 2 allen head screws.

 

you wont be able to make your own intake with that MAF, guaranteed...I know from experience...any changes AT ALL to that pipe diameter will make the car run like crap....those MAF's are super sensitive
