Warranty?????
I am a bit shocked at the Warranty for my new Mazda. I did not purchase the extended warranty and was floored when they explained that the consumer has to pay a % of part cost based on age of the car. In EVERY other car I have ever owned the standard warranty covered all parts and labor for the entire term of the warranty coverage. Mazda charges 25%, 50% and 75% of parts cost but covers the labor? Doesn't seem all that great to me.

did they say what parts? warranty covers all parts except consumables (like tires, battery, bulbs, etc). a lot of those are covered if defective inside the warranty period but the consumer has to eat partial costs.
an extended warranty would not cover consumables either. could be an honest misunderstanding by the sales person or an idiotic/dishonest sales pitch. |
just an update.
