Battery Cover

I took off my battery cover and damaged one of the clips that holds it on to the plastic battery box. To replace it would cost over $80. This is crazy to spend for one little clip. I cannot believe how flimsy these clips are. Anyway I am hoping that someone out there can give me some ideas of some sort of clip that I could attach to the existing box that would work. I really do not want to resort to duct tape!!!!!

Maybe pick n pull for a battery box cover? Or possibly epoxy the clip back on?

I had the same issue on mine, and since the battery cover doesn't really go anywhere it's just sitting there with one clip holding it.
Epoxy didn't work for me since it's fiber reinforced plastic and a very small spot that broke.
They do have rubber hood latches for jeeps & such, as well as bungee sort of cords with holes in them for adjustable straps. Or use a draw latch or screw down some velcro strips.

Maybe you could use a bendable L bracket or something (seems similar)

I'm wondering what the foam stuff is made from? As I want to replace my foam.
