Is anyone having a time getting a 3 man into reverse gear? My daughters having difficulty from time to time, and on a completly different subject, the car , a 08 3 man 4 dr. , is pretty bad in the snow here in new england , mass. , any suggestions?

 

I would reccoment getting some Michelin X-ice 2's for the winter ordeal. (snow tires). as far as the reverse gear goes i also have the same problems. Throw it in first and back to reverse, should go right in. its a lock that engages when driving so you dont accidently drop it into reverse going 60 on the highway, i guess it sticks...

 

I also have this problem. I find that lifting the clutch slightly will allow it to slip into gear, although it will occasionally grind for a second.

Do you know if this issue is covered by the warranty?
