STS update!!

New Fastrack is out and there are additions to STS and clarifiactions to the STX rules. For STS we get MOTOR MOUNTS!!!! So the AWR motor mounts will be legal as of Jan 1. Also a new rule to STS allows any seat that weighs at least 15 lbs and is fully upholstered- so the old rule about having to have a reclining seat is out.

STX is now an official class.
The header/catalytic converter rule is clarified.
Some "camber correction" suspension control arms are now legal.

Gear up for next year!!!

That is the ONE real weak spot I've found in the car.

Call Tony! Tell 'em to hook you up. The Motor Mounts are for the Front and Rear mounts only. If you have a 2.0L, you can use the #3 Mount (passenger side) from the Mazdaspeed Protege.
Mitch, from Protege 5 online, had a group-buy going, but it might have ended last week- check the "group-buy" section.

I'm going to check out my other mounts and replace them with fresh Mazda rubber if needed. With the AWR mounts in place, the other mounts shouldn't wear out like they used to.
