mind your own buisness

I do not remember any one asking you what fit where and who made what to go here or there. You have no idea what my brother is capable of.Are you stupid enuff to think he just took a piston from another engine and put in there there is nothing about my engine that is capatable anymore.the cylnders have bored out the pistons have smaller rings then are required I don't even know what arms and or lifters he used to make it all come together. If I want any advice from a nerd who waits to jump on new people to the sight,I will have a lapse in judgement and ask for selfish opinion.Does it get you off trying to discredit someone who is sharing they're love of the protege.I thought that is what this sight was for.But I guess it is for pathetic losers like yourself who think they know everything do jump on people you do not even know. And if you have a problem with the way my pro is set up then line your slow *** up.I would love to ****** the pink slip to your pro out of your hand and give it to someone who truly respects it and the people who love the pro.BACK OFF cause I promise you there is not a n/a pro on here that can hang here buddy.

Dude, chill out. We're just trying to get the details of your setup. If you want to make a bold claim and say that you enjoy "sharing they're love of the protege", then you can tell us what you've got. Don't just spout off about how awesome your car is, then refuse to get specific about what you've done to it and get all huffy when someone calls your bluff.

Otherwise, we will be forced to conclude that it's all

BTW I have a couple more questions...
1) Exactly what are "spider welded gears from an 89' civic putting positive track @383 ratio." Huh?
2) Where exactly is this 1000' dragstrip? I have never seen a strip that wasn't either 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile.

Please enlighten us.

ok

It is just that I have seen that guy on here trying to always putting people down.

Spider weld is where you weld the limited slip to make it true positive track.my brother used a civic 4 speed with 383 gears
I am not the mechanic I just drive it hard. And I think all the BS flags are for jealous folks.

As for the track it is called centerville and it is in arkansas look it up they are on the net I think.

And I didn't say my car was awesome, but I think it is quick for a pro.

Why in the world are you using a Honda Civic 4-speed tranny, and how did you make it fit? It seems to me that an LX tranny would work much better.

And to answer an earlier question, yes, welded spider gears means no differential. I would like to know how this car manages to negotiate tight turns.

Burn!!!!! If his brother was, I doubt his car would still be running!

So with these spider welded gears, wouldn't that make it really squirelly in the corners? I know you don't really care since you have a lot of straight-line mod things, but isn't it a driveability thing? Does that make it like a 'posi'???

Welding the spider gears locks the diff up solid. An LSD (Posi-Traction is just the brand name offered by GM, there are numerous other types) locks the wheels together when you need straightline traction, but fully or partially releases to allow the car to turn corners. A locked diff never allows the wheels to turn at different speeds; they are... locked.

A locked diff forces one front wheel to slip when you turn corners- in other words, the car will resist turning. If the front wheels are locked, it will induce severe understeer under almost all cornering situations and horrendously increase steering effort; the tighter the corner, the worse it gets. It also creates tremendous loads on the drivetrain, which will break axles, the diff itself, or various other parts of the tranny, particularly if the car is driven on surfaces with uneven traction.

In short, this is a race-only mod on a FWD car. It will usually make the car undrivable on the street.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for I never heard of that done on a FWD car before (with good reason I guess).
