Our new Rally Club is inviting owners of all makes of fun sports cars to our second Rally event this year. This club was started by a group of us in the Tejas Miata club in Austin Texas but it is open to any sports car enthusiast who wishes to participate. We had a great turnout for the first rally earlier this year and are expecting a larger and more diverse group for the next two events.

I didn't see any information about the route? How are the roads going to be? Bad enough to need AWD if it rains? Also I'm guessing no additional safety equipment is required?

 

I would love to come up...if for no other reason just to meet some of the other members here....and to watch....but I will still be working nights...AND THE WEEKENDS...so I guess its going to have to wait till next year... :{(

 

kc5zom - This is not a speed rally, just time, distance and answering some questions about sights along the way. If you go too fast, you will be penalized. The routes are pretty extensive which is why I don't think we have them up on the site but I will see if we can get a basic layout of each route up soon.


Sir Nuke- Sorry you can't make it this time but we will have more events next year and I will be sure to let you guys know about them.
