Yeah, I checked the box, but then I thought me having a website, that acts as a media agent. According to them, it is not. I even got rejected from GM, too. They said they will only allow access to those who provide valueable respond and advertisement of thier products. Oy vey, we shall see!

Well, Ford is somewhat going to. I was reading today (click here for the article) that Ford and Mazda will be sharing many platforms together. For example, Mark Fields said that the next generation Protege, Mazda 3, will be having the same platform as Ford Focus. Though, Mazda is in charge of desighning the powerplants. I read in a separate article (click here for the article) that Mazda is developing the next line of inline-4s (I am sure it has been talked about before, the next 1.8, 2.0, and 2.3 Liters), and Ford is charge of putting the engines in their cars world wide. I do not know if Mazda is going to bring Demio to the US, but Mark Fields did refer to it as Mazda 2, and it would "heavily" share parts with new Fiesta. How ever, I hope that the next generation Pro, if it is still going to be called that, will not look like Focus. Though the next Miata and RX-8 are true Mazdians!

I think I read the next Protege will be "daringly" styled, and will definitely be differentiated from the Focus.

About the new engines, here's a similar article form Mazda's site
