hey guys.

what should i get to prepare for a turbo on my auto tranny '02 pro sedan? also, where would i get it? im learning about how all this stuff works, and would have a mechanic (family member) there helping me, if anything.

Please stop harrassing us auto guys!! I seen an AUTO Toyota Supra doing 12's in the 1/4 mile kicking everyones *** even MANUAL turbo eclipses...so please lay off...and also it beat a VR4 3000 GT all wheel drive TWIN turbo and the supra beat it....now about your turbo question I dont know it but I don know about a company in Salt Lake City who builds custom turbos for any car

I think the company is called Level 10. they do incredible things with auto trannys, they make them close to bullet proof. Search here or yahoo and you should be able to find their site.

Sorry guys don't mean to hate... but I mean I just don't think it's nearly as fun driving around in an automatic where you just push down on the gas. I mean I know there are advantages to this if you get it built up right.... being consistant is one advantage. I used to have an auto Protege and I just couldn't stand it.

Modifly a 1993 car? Why bother? By the time you buy a turbo, it would have caused twice the amount of money your car is worth?

Well yeah... I've already spent more on the car then what I bought it for.... why bother??... because I bought a car for cheap that I like and can now kick some ***. What do you have done to your car?

IMO, older cars are a lot better to hook up. They've been out for a while, so they have more aftermarket support and more info on car. Also, if you put a turbo on a new car, your warranty is screwed. You don't have to worry about that with a older car.
Last but not least, you can whip some asses with an older looking car. No one would expect an older model to be faster.

About the question, If I were you I'd start buying things like the BOV, manual boost controller, bigger fuel pump(if needed), and all those accessories that you need or that its recommended to use.

hehe.. that's expected. it's an open discussion forum. as long as it's about a pro, or just cars in general.. it's cool.

when i buy these, i wouldnt install them now right? i would wait until all the pieces of the puzzle are there before putting them together.

Well yeah, it would be pointless to install the turbo's accesories before the turbo. If that is what you meant...

yeah, you can't put all the turbo accessories if u dont have the turbo.

you could always fit all the components and leave out the turbo and minifold and marvel at the empty space that will become the turbo
