I jsut ordered my turbo timer and it will be here friday for installation friday night and sat morn. I ended up going with the Blitz FATT DC timer due to its size and auto capabilities. Check it out at www.blitz-na.com awesome timer even though they all do the same thing.

 

I am unfamiliar with most of the misc parts needed for a turbocharged car. What does a turbo timer do? I always thought that it some how controlled the time or RPM at which the lag ended, but am not sure. How do they work?

 

They are a timer that allows the engine to idle for a set period of time so that the turbo and engine have time to cool down thus increasing both engine and turbo life.
