So should I get a tranny cooler or an oil cooler? Or do I need both?

zerocover December-6th-2004 01:19 AM

A tanny cooler will double the life of your tranny I would just becuse there cheap and its nice to have some reasurence.
You dont really need an oil cooler, its more for high powered cars.
You can get an oil+tranny cooler in one for $99 (Cheap!) totaly worth it.

Where can I get that from? And how long should I expect my tranny to last with/without it?

any local autoparts store will carry them. My Advanced Auto has about 6 different kinds available from $40-$250 depending on what you want.

If you're going to be lubricating/cooling your turbo with oil you had better get an oil cooler. Even cars with small turbos and low bost (like the MSP) come with oil coolers to prevent damage.
