I talked to the guys at Racing Beat and they told me that they installed turbos on some Proteges and the axles have broken because they are not strong enough. Mybe that's why the new MS Protege will have bigger axles.
Any comments?

maybe not bigger axles but definately reinforced/stronger alloy ones. The tranny and axles are definately the weak point of the turbo setup. You could prolly boost up to 11-12psi be4 you need to reinforce the engine but if you drive your car hard, then 170-180hp may be enough to crack the axle
