2.0l TT?!?!

2.0l TT?!?!
Okay, I was thinking the other day. The fastest 4 door sedan (the last I heard) was some Jaguar, Dual Supercharged V8. If Im correct, it was two small superchargers that added the hp. Im wondering if two small turbos would be benifical to the 2.0l FS engine. I know just 1 t3 or t4 would be fine, but I was thinking 2 T-25's maybe. Still, Turbo lag is a bitch but I was just thinking at 3am... who knows? Anybody care to help out this dreaming fool?
Doh, might wanna move this to the Forced Induction Spot, sorry didnt see it.

I am not sure If I know what I am talking about but wouldnt you, well if you could have to off set the size of the turbo. (small turbo for takeoff, larger turbo for higher speeds and RPMs) well I don't know but it sounds right. Any different views?

I'm not so sure about this... I was talking about this with someone who is trouble-shooting their RX7 (were having a wastegate problem). I don't know much about TT or Turbo in general, so he sent me some schematics etc, and it seemed like the TTs were in-line. And anyway, they aren't supposed to kick in at the same time. From how it was explained, the *secondary* turbo on the RX7 is a little smaller than the *primary*

The Jaguar XJR and XKR just have a single supercharger. Audi uses a pretty interesting Biturbo setup (their words not mine). They use two small turbos (each feeding a bank of cylinders) instead of one big turbo. The two small turbos spool up faster than the big turbo. This is the system they use on the S4. Truth be told the XJR and XKR are not that fast. They both 0-60 in the mid 5's and make 370HP (stock is 280 or 290) each. They are hampered by their automatic transmissions and high weight. But that is fine because they are the most comfortable cars I have ever sat in. The new S-Type R has a 400HP supercharged engine. It is supposed to be the performance king at Jaguar for awhile (they also used to make the XJ220 or something like that but it was not for US sale). I honestly can't think of any engines that use a dual supercharger setup. I know the RX-7 used two turbos in series (can't feed two different banks of cylinders on that one). You would have to do a series setup on the Protege unless you wanted to make a really creative intake system (feed 2 cylinders off of each turbo). I don't think that would work too well without some extreme engine modifications.
An interesting question would be what is the fastest sedan made. Maybe one of the AMG Mercedes models. Definitely something imported.

All of those 350+ hp sedans are so close in speed that any one of them would make me happy. My favorite is the M5 though because BMWs supsensions turn me on. A family sedan that can run with a corvette, beating it to pick up groceries and kids from soccer practice, would be pretty cool

Guys, that car that I mentioned had two superchargers!!!
DeTomaso Pantera
Fastest sedan is M5 I think. Not sure though about the SL600 that is supposed to come out soon from Benz. It'll be a V12 with 400 hp I think. The SL500 does a 4.2 0-100 I think.
So who cares if they're not sedans, they're luxury coupes that got a hardtop that retracts automatically in like 5 seconds

I just realized that If we pulled up next to a GT-2 in our cars, he would hit 100 mph most likely before we would hit 60. I wonder how many car lengths that is?

yeah, either 0-100 km/h or 0-60 mph..... forgot which one as they differ slightly........
By the time that the GT-2 does the quarter mile, we would be at the 80 m mark I think......
