window tint question

i know this might seem like a dumb question, so please don't get mad at me, but when you get your windows tinted can they tint the windshiled too, my dad said they probably don't, and then i got to thinking about it and i wasn't sure if i've ever seen a tinted windshield

No.

It is illegal in most areas. But some areas will allow you to tint the top portion of your windshield (to block out a portion of the sun). But that is only a couple of inches or cm.

No...

And if you ask the person tinting your windows to tint your windshield....you'll get a look like this.... Plus it would be hard to see out of a tinted windshield, especially at night.

The guy that did my tint has his windsheild tinted. It is his work truck and he never drives at night. I don't remember the percentage but it is the lightest he could find. It looks pretty cool when you are inside of it. But if you are ever going to drive at night I would never do that.

I don't know if this has been brought up, but our cars don't have what most people call a "tint line" on the front frame for the windshield. (At least mine doesn't) It is supposed to be marked by dots where your visor tint can't go below. Does anyone know the exact measurements for this?

Thumbs down

my ex girlfriend (who could barely drive to start out with)(and I work with ) used to have the front windows on her neon tinted ,, made it really hard to see out the front window and in general was not cool ...
I don't recomend it

I also don't recomend messing with chicks you work with , but that is another topic
