Has anyone disassembled their stock mirrors? I am trying to see if I can install flush LED turn signals (like Mercedes, etc)on the front, colored portion of the mirror, but I can't seem to get it off. This will be a time-consuming but SWEET mod if I can do it.

It is definitely a separate piece, but you can't buy just that piece, you've gotta get a whole new mirror.

Anyone either taken the thing apart, or (maybe better yet!) broken their mirror and seen how the assembly goes together? I know how to remove the mirrors from the car (duh), but haven't been able to take them apart yet.

If so, any pics of what the guts look like? Oh, and if anyone has installed APCs or something, would you be willing to sell me your stock mirrors? Color doesn't matter.
