I had that problem too, what, i did is i got a few slim rubber seals and i slid them in the gap under the spoiler. Now it is perfectly silent and you really can't see the spacers.

for some odd reason I think that when you ask the dealer to fix the rattling spoiler due to the new sound system you just installed, all they are going to do is laugh.... but I might be wrong....

I tried doing this myself. I took off the spoiler and put some dynomat inside. But then I over tightened the screws and broke one off. Be Careful!

hey jkrswild93 and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

your best bet is to remove the spoiler and to install some Dynomat in/under it...then carefully reinstall...

depends on the amount of sound/air pressure u'll be putting out, ie: the amount of bass. i had a single 12, rattled the hell out of that spoiler. we took it off, replaced the stock rubber/foam seal with thicker stuff, everything nice and quiet. swapped out sub for dual 12's, rattles like crazy again.

sound deaden and add thicker seal.
