speaker comparison

Hey I was looking at some new front speakers, not too expensive, and it seems like there are 2 good models that I could find:

Pioneer TS-G6840R 6"x8" and Sony XS-W5721 5"x7"

Accd to Crutchfield they both have ~ the same sensitivity (92dB and 91dB) but the Sony RMS is 2-40 whereas Pioneer is only 2-30

It seems like the Sony should be better for the price, but I have heard bad things about their car speakers and wanted to see what people thought. I'd appreciate any input, thanks guys

Sony = crap
Pionner = good now crap in a year

I dont think I will ever buy another pioneer product becuae over time they seem to decay in performance. When you just get them you will always love the sound but I have pioneers all around put in last year and now they sound like the stock crap. Im gonna replace everything now most likley with alpines.

Sony's are over rated crap. Cheap but just crap. Find a best buy and take a listen to them.
