Reverse Idiglo Installed, finally!

Hey guys I finally got my gauges in. Thanks to Negatize for suggesting that I cut them. The cut wasn't as clean as his but Live & Learn - right?

I couldn't figure out how to post a pic on this site, so click on this link to see them.

Please let me know what you think

Yeah, two tips,
1. Don't do it

2. If you decide to, make sure that you have 1 or 2 spare gauge clusters to use for parts!

It's actually more of a grayish color. The original indiglo gauges were white. I got the same gauges as Negatize, the reverse ones without the blue indiglo circle around the tach and speedometer. There's no need to cut the faces, they DO slip over the needles. Just be careful!

i have the exact same indiglos, and im on my third, yes i said third, set of factory guages..... indiglos had to be cut slightly to clear the gas and temp guage, and also the tach.... they look way cool, but what a pain in the ***..... and 200 dollars later..................

hey guys just got my guages today and i knew i was going to have difficulty, so i took the cluster out of the car and worked on it in the house. I took my time, about an hour, and i slipped every one of those guages on without having to cut anything. I surprised myself on this one. well i just wanted to let you guys know that.

yea mine were from procarparts, i really took my time with it, because when APC first came out with their indiglos i broke my fuel and temp guages. i took the cluster in the house with me and sat down and made sure that i was careful. It is a bit tricky and a few times i thought they just wouldnt fit without cutting, but i did get them on, the funny thing is that the tach was harder then the fuel/temp guage. the best thing to do i think is when you take the screws out that hold the face on, tape them up so they dont move, if it moves alot you could break the needle with it. once i got them on, i pulled the tape off and screwed everything back. BTW i got the ones with the indiglo center, and the look so freakin awesome, now everything in my car light up blue with red accents.

Whst do you mean "tape them up"? tape the old gauges up so they don't move?
